I recently had a chance to stop by Crime Time and discuss my new book “You’re Perfect … and Other Lies Parents Tell” with host Allison Hope Weiner. We do a quick walk through of several topics in the book, including teaching your kids empathy, how our media culture is impacting children, how “helicopter” parenting doesn’t do your child any favors, and, always a favorite, what to do if your child is arrested.
