Driveway Safety: The tragic truth about kids and cars

Motorists run over an average of 50 children a week in driveways and parking lots across the country. Many of those children survive. But at least two die. Although federal safety officials are considering new rules for rear visibility, the better fix comes through a change in driver behavior, namely safer driving.
