ZeroRez DFW: Dealing with pet stains

Anyone with a pet has had to clean up a mess. But it turns out, we may be encouraging more accidents depending on how we clean them up. Here’s some advice from the animal experts at the Humane Society:

Pie Five: Top pizza toppings from foreign countries

Have you ever ordered pizza in a foreign country? It was probably pretty different from the standard pepperoni that is so popular here in the U.S.

Check out some of the most popular toppings from around the world, and let us know if you think we should start serving them at our restaurants! We can’t make any promises though, as it may be tough to get our hands on some of these ingredients!

India – pickled ginger, minced mutton and cottage-cheese like paneer make up the most popular pie combo in this growing nation.

Russia – Fruits of the sea rule in Russia, with a weird concoction called “mockba” taking the top spot. It combines sardines, tuna, mackerel, salmon and onions. Supposedly it pairs well with red herring.

Brazil – Green peas are the most popular item in this South American giant, though tropical fruits like mangos and pineapples are also popular.

Japan – The most popular pizza here combines sushi-favorites eel and squid with a sauce called “Mayo Jaga” — mayonnaise with potatoes and bacon.

France – The French love their “flambé” pizza, topped with bacon, onion and fresh cream.

Australia – “Throw another shrimp on the barbie” applies to pizza, too! Aussies love the combo of shrimp, pineapple and barbecue sauce.

Costa Rica – Coconut is king in this tropical paradise, and gets paired with just about any other topping you can imagine.

Netherlands – People here like to go “Double Dutch” — double meat, double cheese and double onion.
