In the land of Internet marketing, virtually every professional will tell you that it’s important to have a “call to action” on your page(s). But what exactly is a call to action and why is it necessary?
A call to action is any phrase asking or suggesting followers to do some type of task on your website – such as like, follow, or sign up for a newsletter. If the “action” can be done to further bring you together with that user, it will be helpful in the long run. Generally, calls to action are meant to include social media or some other web-based task.
Without these suggestions, users may simply read your content, skim the website, and then head for the hills. These calls, however, let them know how to get further involved and why the task can help. Asking them to like or follow a page not only gains a follower, but will allow the user to stay in touch with upcoming news or business – a win-win situation.
Be sure to include them for added involvement to your website or social media page! And be sociable! Take the time to post comments on other YouTube users accounts. Most will appreciate it and some will reciprocate.
