What to know before getting lash extensions

683001_16995716So you’ve decided you might want eyelash extensions, but you’re feeling a bit apprehensive because you don’t know much about the treatment. Let us debunk some myths for you!

One of the biggest worries of women considering lash extensions is that the health of their natural lashes will be compromised. As long as your extensions are applied correctly and properly, you have nothing to worry about! Your natural lashes will remain perfectly in tact, provided you don’t fiddle with the extensions.

Some women are concerned the lashes will be too dramatic, making them look the opposite of glamorous. You can work with your lash technician to get the look you want, and you can also start with a half set that will fill in about half of your top lashes to air on the side of caution.

Your lash extensions will fall out with the growth cycle of the lash to which they are connected, so if you wish to maintain your look you’ll want to get a touch-up every three to four weeks.
