Major Alden P. Rigby flew 76 combat missions over Europe as part of the famous ‘Blue-nosed Bastards of Bodney’ during World War II. Rigby piloted a P-51 and shot down five German aircraft – four of them in just 25 minutes – during the Battle of the Bulge. You can learn more about Major Rigby and others in the Utah Aviation Hall of Fame section at Hill Aerospace Museum.
