This is why artificial intelligence is the future of marketing

Until recently, marketing relied on one singular component to get its job done: the human element. Why, then, might artificial intelligence (AI) play a larger role in marketing very soon?

They anticipate our needs

Marketing depends on good business relationships to see a profit. That means marketers must anticipate potential customer and client needs. To a certain extent, this practice is intuitive. But the fact is, machines (i.e., AI) are often as good as – if not better — at predicting human behavior than actual humans are!

Rise of the machines

Perhaps it is the very nature of this anticipatory relationship that makes humans get along so well with machines – and we’d like to get along even better! The average American owns more than seven internet-connected devices. We’re very comfortable in the company of machines … and getting more comfortable every day.

Smart marketers already use AI

According to the most recent report from Salesforce Research, 51 percent of marketing leaders stated they already use AI in their business, and 27 percent planned to begin doing the same in the next two years. That’s because savvy salespeople know the future when they see it … and the future of business is AI.
