Hill Field has a long acquaintance with the P-47 Thunderbolt. During World War II, Hill Field maintained, repaired and rehabilitated the Thunderbolt and the R-2800 engines that powered them. Hundreds were stored at the base after the war. Come see ours. It’s a beauty.
