The B-24 was dubbed the “flying boxcar” by crews because of its distinctive flat, slab-sided fuselage.Our B-24 was recovered from Great Sitkin Island in the Aleutians where it had crash landed and remained forgotten for over 50 years. It is one of only 20 still in existence.
