Thanksgiving is upon us, and it’s important to remember what we are thankful for, even when it comes to fitness. So what are you grateful for? Here are our top fitness tips to be thankful for:
Fitness trackers: Never before have you been able to track your progress as you are now. There are wearable trackers, fitness apps, tracking sheets, and programs you can follow. All of these things make it that much easier to stay on top of your fitness goals, celebrate the small victories, and make your fitness a top priority.
Interval Training: It used to be that you went to the gym, did your cardio, lifted your weights, stretched, showered, and went home. The routine was there, but it was boring, and often results were slow and sluggish. Now interval training, makes workouts more intense, combines cardio, and strength training, and more importantly it makes working out more fun. Your workout can now be quicker, more effective, and fun!

Fitness classes: Sometimes you just hit a rut with your workout routine. It’s just not doing it for you anymore. Trying a different and new class is just the thing to shake you up. Switch from that aerobics class to a Zumba class, or from that swimming class to a yoga session. Gyms offer plenty of options to keep you interested, and keep you on track with your fitness goals. As long as you’re moving, you’re on track.
So tuck into that turkey dinner, and enjoy it, but while you’re saying what you’re thankful, remember what we are thankful for, and get moving to work that turkey off!
