This month, Murray Recreation is ‘scaring up’ good times with fun fall events for families! On October 6, we hosted the annual Pumpkin Races at Murray Park. Thanks to everyone who came out! But the fun isn’t over, and you don’t have to miss out.
Today, we’re sharing a list of some additional activities that will be held through the end of October. We invite you to join us, and want to wish you a Happy Halloween!
- The annual family fun Halloween event Murray Park Haunted Trail will be held this year from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 20, 21, and 22. The cost is $3 per person, and is appropriate for all ages. Please call The Park Center for more information.
- Murray City presents Cemetery Clues from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 25 at the Murray Cemetery (5490 South Vine Street). This is a free, fun October activity. Tours will be limited to 40 attendees, so you must pick up tickets at the Murray Parks Office. Call 801-264-2614 for more information.
- Murray Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through October 25. Don’t miss out on this chance to pick up fresh, locally grown produce! You can find the market in the parking lot of Murray Park, near The Park Center, at 150 East 5200 South.
- Murray City Cultural Arts presents Haunted Tales at the Murray Library, starting at 6:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27. For more information call the Murray Library.
