We all need good role models and sometimes advice from supportive friends who understand our goals.

Oftentimes, we receive the guidance we need to be successful from caring parents and teachers. But when we have professional and personal goals, sometimes we need an additional road map to follow with the kind of information that can only be provided by someone who has already acquired the skills that we’re trying to learn. Or maybe they’ve even accomplished the goals we’ve set for ourselves.
Finding the right mentor can be an important strategy for success. If you’re blessed to have already entered your chosen profession, finding a mentor can help you navigate career decisions and avoid pitfalls. The right mentor can become a trusted friend and ally. The relationship provides inspiration, support and valuable insights that can make all the difference!
The same type of mentoring relationships are important for people trying to find a road out of the cycle of generational poverty. At Cause for Hope, part of the programs and services we provide to help people become successful include providing our participants with mentors. Our mentors are building long-term relationships and leading by example as people become self-reliant.
“Cause for Hope pursues its objective of building self-reliance for individuals and families through multiple, yet closely related programs. These tools help a client achieve self-sufficiency according to their own abilities, interests and circumstances. The key measurement of success is increasing a family’s income and savings through our mentoring process through our local managers.” (Source: Cause For Hope)
We provide individual mentors to help people choose the training they’ll need. Our mentors also provide encouragement and support so that people find the motivation they need to reach out for their goals.
