Network marketing isn’t a place for those with no drive or determination. Success takes work, and a lot of it. And knowing that there are hardships that must be faced on the path to financial security is half the battle.

Any current or aspiring network marketer should know that, unlike a typical 9-to-5 employee, your weekly income will undoubtedly vary, and the odds are that some weeks you might not get paid at all. The biggest difference between a business owner and an employee is that an employee continues to get paid a wage no matter what. When you’re a network marketer, you’re essentially your own boss. And when you’re the boss, there are simply sacrifices you must be willing to make. If you can’t see it in yourself to make these sacrifices, you probably won’t be in this business very long.

This might seem to be all doom and gloom, but it’s not. With great risk comes great reward, especially for network marketers. So the bright side of this industry is that you can in fact be rewarded handsomely in the long term, as long as you understand and overcome the difficulties that may occur short term.

All that said, the network marketing industry is debatably the easiest and most cost-effective method of finding financial freedom. Your perseverance will pay off in the end, and the sacrifices made today have the potential of paying you back exponentially in the years to come.
