Mirrors are not only for reflecting…

Have you seen this cute video of a father and daughter being silly in front of the mirror? After gushing over the cuteness, you might think about the role the mirror plays. While they are often considered necessities (How else will you know if your hair is neatly combed?), mirrors can also be sources of entertainment and decorating statements.

Mirrors tend to be forgotten when redecorating, but they can end up being the focal point of a room. Mirrors not only can add depth to a small space, but they can also reflect color as well.

Don’t forget about your mirror. Spice up the frame with some DIY arts and crafts, or hunt for a creative frame made of repurposed material or steel. Also, don’t limit yourself to the usual decorative mirrors. Look for unique pieces, and then find unique ways to feature them.

No matter what you find, once your new mirror goes up in the living room, hallway or bedroom, it is likely to be the talk of your family and guests.
