Once elected to the Salt Lake County Council, it didn’t take long for me to realize two things: the position would be far from part-time, and that hard work would pay off by improving people’s lives. I dove in. Dug in. Dedicated myself to responding to every constituent — even if it meant answering emails until 3 a.m.
Now, as I focus all my energy on the State Senate 4 contest, I am equally committed to again representing my friends and neighbors — to Putting You First. Working for the amazing people of this district energizes me like nothing else.
As a mother, I will continue to fight for safe streets, clean air and quality education. It’s critically important to preserve open spaces, protect our pristine canyons and honor all human rights. And you can count on me to be your voice in a Utah Legislature that would do well by listening.
