After using the app, the show experienced a whopping ten-fold increase in traffic, and a whopping Internet bill to go with it. But it wasn’t real traffic. Turns out, a bug in iOS 6.0.0 was turning those phones into bandwidth hogs, using much larger amounts of data to complete the same task.
