The 99th Annual WAFC Convention will run from May 2-6, 2020, at the JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert, California. Every year, this event brings thousands of grocery retailers, wholesalers, brokers, manufacturers and suppliers together in one venue. This five-day event is always a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work to put on.
That’s why we’re asking you––our fellow Illuminators––to step up to the plate and help out. In order for the WAFC Convention to be as amazing as always, we need volunteers. Lots of them. If you’re already planning on attending the convention in May, we’d love it if you could dedicate a couple of hours to volunteer. We’re looking to fill several different volunteer roles, including:
- Awards & Special Events Volunteers
- Command Post Volunteers
- Golf Tournament Volunteers
- Greeters
- Hospitality Committee Volunteers
To see which positions are still available, we invite you to click here. There, you’ll find a Google Spreadsheet with several tabs at the bottom. Select a time that’s most convenient for you (most volunteer positions require a two-hour commitment) and fill in your name and contact information.
