Pretty soon we’ll say goodbye to 2014 and welcome 2015. If you’re like us, you keep tabs on what’s going in the craft world. Here’s what you can expect in 2015:
- Mason jar projects will still be in. While not a new trend, this one is going to stick around, likely because of their versatility. Use them to decorate your home to hold flowers, candles and kitchen utensils. They also make cute wedding centerpieces.
- Furniture upcycling is here to stay. This is another trend that has some legs. Why? Because it’s thrifty. It’s amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!
- Fancy handwriting is in. Think calligraphy on wedding invites, walls or any other surface you can think of.
- Knitting makes a comeback. It’s time to borrow your grandma’s needles and get creative. Don’t be afraid to try new pattern.
- Use of the Pantone color of the year. We hope you like red because you’re going to see it everywhere. Why not try it for yourself?
