For years, Advance Manufacturing has served a variety of industries. We machine equipment pieces, create various prototypes for market, and produce more than 200,000 machine parts each year. All of this machining and mill work has been managed for almost two decades with the help of GibbsCAM software.
Fortunately, as the times have changed, so has GibbsCAM and their products. With the help of the company’s Sync Manager, we’re now able to program more than one tool group (or turret) at a time. Being able to program multiple turrets (or tool groups) means more efficiency and quicker completion times for each and every one of our projects. Since using the MTMs and the associated module in GibbsCAM, we’ve seen a significant reduction in the time it takes to get our customers’ products to market.
Programming no longer needs to be done by hand, and all machine components can be ready to roll with just the push of a button. Also helping us immensely was our choice to purchase a five-axis GibbsCAM module. If we hadn’t done this, some of the tasks we perform regularly today would be virtually impossible!
