Many Baby Boomers are living in denial as to how much money they will need to stash away in order to ensure a comfortable retirement. The old standby of investing in stocks and bonds may produce reasonable gains, but nothing near the returns required to cover retirement costs.
Just consider this surprising fact: Even those in their twenties have unrealistic expectations for retirement, so in truth everyone should do a reality check on their assumptions about retirement planning.
