When 10-year old student Maggie Velasquez, who has cerebral palsy, needed help to attend an overnight camping trip with her friends teacher Helma Wardenaar went above and beyond to made her wish come true. Wardenaar has always said she’d do anything for her students, and proved it by carrying the girl on her back to help make sure she could be a part of the three-day camping trip.
