Come enjoy the Jersey Shore Music Festival in July

A one-of-a-kind event promises to kickstart recovery for the Jersey Shore. Residents have come together to create the first Jersey Shore Music Festival. The event kicks off July 20th, and if beaches, live music and food and fun under the sun sound good to you, don’t miss this event! The venue is the BlueClaws Stadium in Lakewood, N.J.

Festival managers have promised a showcase of national and local bands, and hundreds of Jersey Shore’s artists, sculptors and jewelry craftsmen are expected to attend. Photographers and clothing designers will also be at the festival. To spur more interest in local fare, many of the town’s best restaurants and chefs promise to provide delectable samplings to attendees.

What makes this festival worth attending? Less than a year ago, nearby environs suffered the ravages of Hurricane Sandy. Bringing the local economy back to life, while enjoying a little bit of the good stuff, seems like a win-win situation. Don’t you think so? Then come out and enjoy a great time!

It promises to be a rocking party that will offer attendees food, dancing and fun places to lounge. Come ready to shop and bop.

The main headliners include Tribal Seeds, AER and River City Extension. Other performers in the lineup: The Main Squeeze, The Front Bottoms, and Brick + Mortar. More than 50 local bands will also perform. Organizers say more will be added to the roster as the event draws closer to the July 20th kickoff.

“The Jersey Shore Music Festival is not only about local music; it is also about showcasing all of the local restaurants, craftspeople, and other businesses who call the Jersey Shore their home,” according to the event’s website.
