The BT-13 was the basic trainer flown by most American pilots during WWII. The aircraft earned the nickname “Vibrator” because it shook as it approached stall speed. However, it was an excellent aircraft that helped transition pilots to advanced fighters. After WWII almost all were sold as surplus for a few hundred dollars each. Come on by and see ours.
