The MiG-17F, designed to intercept level-flying enemy bombers, wasn’t available for the Korean War, but was the primary fighter used by the Vietnam People’s Air Force during the Vietnam War. Our MiG-17F was acquired by the museum in 2002 and restored by the 388th Fighter Wing.
