We are in the midst of the holiday season. It’s a time of love and happiness and a time to reflect on what’s most important to us. We’d like to take this opportunity to share with everyone the love and honor we feel every time we are blessed with the opportunity to serve veterans on our boat. To them, we’d like to say a big THANK YOU.
Our culture is constantly shifting. The average American is now bombarded with new public figures and “celebrities” daily. People have heroes and they don’t know why, and just as quickly as someone finds themselves in the spotlight, they are forgotten.
Streaming videos and reality stars are in a constant state of flux, while we have true heroes, who are nothing less than constant, always there, always on watch and always willing to give their all. They have always been, and will always be heroes. They are our veterans.
Thank you for always being there. Families sleep soundly at night, relaxed and nestled in the safety of their homes, free to do as they choose while the men and women who serve our country watch over our freedom. Thank you for peace of mind — past, present and future.
Thank you for your sacrifice. Sacrifice is time spent away from families and home, missing all of the simple things that define the lives of others, sacrificing so much, and if necessary, making the most noble of sacrifices to protect the freedom and liberty of others.
Thank you for your service. Thank you for insuring our safety on American soil and in other places throughout the world, protecting what we believe and helping others find the same.
Thank you for your resilience. Thank you for getting up every day and working, despite the most difficult and dangerous circumstances. Working when you may not get the support and accolades that you deserve, but doing it because so much depends on what you do every day.
Thank you for your heroism. We owe everything to those who have served in the past, and our men and women currently serving our great country will define this term for generations to come. You show us true grit, true character and true patriotism.
So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to our true heroes.
