Did you know that military personnel and their families can get free admission to more than 2,000 national parks, recreation areas, wildlife refuges and other public lands nationwide? The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service offers an annual pass free for U.S. Military service men and women that’s available to U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, and also Reserve and National Guard members.
Here at Hand in Hand Outdoors, we wanted to share this information because we know that time spent outdoors can make all the difference to improve health, wellbeing and happiness. That’s why we have made it our goal to provide opportunities for our nations veterans, as well as underprivileged and disabled children and adults, to experience outdoor activities to enhance their lives through education, experience and direct participation in fishing, boating, shooting and camping.
We want to provide service men and women with the resources to enrich their lives. Our veterans deserve all of our thanks and all the support we can give in return for their service to our country!
For more information about the free national parks and federal recreation lands pass, visit the official National Park Service website here. And if you or someone you know would like to spend a day outdoors with us – free of charge – visit us online and get in touch. We want to hear from you!
