Those little fingerprints make for great mementos, especially when dipped in paint (or chocolate!) and hung up on the wall for Mom or Dad to admire. But for some reason, we just don’t feel the same way about those cute little fingerprints when they’re plastered all over the inside of the family car.
Just as you scooted in next to your hubby on your morning commute, you felt a sticky spot. Oops! There goes what could have been a great day, as you discover little Junior left a wad of chewing gum on the front seat of your car. As you look around for more of those hidden ‘treasures,’ it dawns on you that your car looks and smells like Mr. Smith’s first-grade kindergarten’s class after a sweaty game of tag.
Maybe it’s time to tackle those sticky landmines, before you ruin your favorite business attire and have to make another run to the dry-cleaners in the space of just one week.
Face it: Cars ferry both busy parents and sticky-fingered children. If you’re tired of looking at that wad of bubble gum in the ashtray, consider a thorough car detailing for the family car. And, don’t succumb to the idea that it will just get dirty again, so why bother? A fresh cleaning can be a potent lesson to your small fry on the importance of washing those little hands, before you put your child in the booster seat.
