FCC Chair Asks Wireless Industry To Make Cellphone Unlocking Easier For Consumers

Currently, consumers are unable to take their cell phones to a new carrier without first obtaining permission and assistance from the original service. A move is underway to make it easier for consumers once the contract ends.
