Work gaps in your resume? Whether for parenting, caregiving, health/wellness or for any other reason, time in between jobs has become more common. That’s why LinkedIn is now offering users the option of both listing and providing an explanation for career gaps.
In its research, LinkedIn found that over half of hiring managers were more likely to contact applicants who accounted for and provided context about career breaks. Also, nearly 70% of women said they are looking for more ways to positively describe gaps in work history.
