Now’s the time to order your zips for fall and winter. They are warm, have pockets to warm cold hands, pen pockets on the left arm, and have radio and mic lapel holders. These are special order items- requiring prepayment. And can have either the union or UFA logo embroidered on the left breast. Typical wait time is one month from order, although we do have a few selected styles & sizes in stock. Cost is $65 for the union log and $67 for the UFA logo on the chest. UFA logo is screen printed on the back.
- Lightweight regular ¼ zips are $28.
- For those desiring specialty logos for their station, the logo must be approved by UFA Command Staff prior to printing.
- We have pre-printed t-shirts in stock with printing only on the back of the T, and no printing on the front. These are sold at cost, if you want to have the front customized at the printer of your choice. We have several vendors that we could refer you to. Our current vendors require a one-time setup fee of $20 per color for screen printing. (A 5 color logo would cost $100 one time) and then have a minimal cost per t-shirt. We have several vendors that can do heat transfers as well- which is better for a complex multi-color logo.
- We can handle custom t-shirt orders but they must be prepaid on all quantities ordered, typically $10/shirt. The reason for this is that we still have a number of custom order t-shirts on the shelves.
- We have had some requests for Haz Mat and Heavy Rescue duty t-shirts with rank designation printed. We will only order sizes in ranks on request. We still have some Haz Mat and Rescue shirts on hand in selected sizes. These shirts are specialty specific not station specific.
- We also have long sleeve t’s in mock turtle neck or crew neck.
If you have any quality control problems with your purchase, bring it back immediately for exchange or refund. A refund is hard to justify if the purchase is 3-6 months old.
