Does your club have a disaster plan? More and more companies are recognizing the importance of planning for unforeseen events. But surveys conducted by disaster preparedness firm Agility Recovery show that for many businesses, the planning doesn’t go far enough. For example, it’s estimated that less than one-third of businesses with a disaster plan have access to alternative office space should theirs become uninhabitable. Only about half have a plan for acquiring temporary office equipment if needed. And in the event of a power outage, only 57 percent have access to power generators.
Agility Recovery has partnered with CMAA to help bridge the gap between disaster planning and disaster readiness. The company offers CMAA member-managed clubs an online, turn-key business continuity road map that is updated annually. In the event of a disaster, your club will not only have a plan for recovery but will have access to the tools you would need to survive a setback – big or small. You’ll have a plan and you’ll be ready. For more information about Agility Recovery’s solutions for CMAA members, go to this link.
