In case you missed it, in December Shaw Floors announced its 2015 color of the year: “Lady in Grey.” Emily Morrow, Shaw’s director of color, style, and design said her design team has noticed the continuation of grey as a major movement in fashion, home furnishings, and other textiles. In short she believes “Lady in Grey” is sophisticated, modern, high-fashion, and is an elegant hue.
So how does this translate into interior design? This year chic coastal designs as well as classic decor with a modern twist are “it.” Large geometric patterns in carpet will also be popular in 2015.
