Season for giving

Half-length portrait of the company of happy smartly-dressed peopleIt’s the season for sharing. The time of year when many people tend to feel a little more generous.

While this is a great attitude, there are some things you just don’t want to share. And no one wants to receive them. We’re talking about germs.

In the fall and winter, and especially around the holiday season, more people are interacting with friends, relatives and even strangers. There seems to be more handshaking and hugging. And, unfortunately, this means there are more germs being shared.

To make sure you aren’t sharing germs so that you and those around you can enjoy the season, follow a few simple guidelines.

  1. Wash your hands frequently. Do you know how to wash your hands correctly?
  2. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, preferably with a tissue or handkerchief rather than your hand. Your sleeve will work in a pinch.
  3. Try to avoid touching your nose, mouth or eyes with your hands.
  4. Keep your body healthy. Check out our PEARL Antioxidant Defense.

Go ahead and share some good cheer. Just don’t share germs!
